The default length for headlines in our widgets is 60 characters (incl blank spaces). This maximum length can however be changed for every widget.
If the article title is longer than the limit, it will be truncated and three dots will be appended to the title, like "Truncated title is like...".
Preferably we collect the title from the metatag og:title.
Some of our widgets show a description text. This text is usually limited to 60 characters (incl blank spaces). Just like with titles, it will be truncated and three dots will be appended.
Preferably the description text is being collected from the metatag og:description.
The body text is not being shown in the widget. Instead it is being analyzed by our system, to be able to recommend the article on other relevant article pages.
An article needs to contain an image. If we cannot find an image in the article, the article will not be shown in the widget.
Preferably the image url is being collected from the metatag og:image.
By default our widgets show content that has been published during the last 45 days. This can be changed on request.
We need to be able to find the publishing date in a readable format in every article. Preferably the date is being collected from the metatag article:published_time.
Optionally we can collect the name of the section where the article belongs to.
Most often the section name is being collected from the metatag article:section.
