A Strossle ad contains an IMAGE, a HEADLINE and a DESCRIPTION. Other than that the individual design of the publisher webpage decides the exact look of your ad.
Step 1: Image
Editorial images or portraits have the best engement rates.
Don't add logos (text, numbers, prices) or Call to Actions in the picture.
In some widgets a 'Sponsored' label is placed on top of the image, most often in the upper left corner.
Our software can crop your image differently depending on the widget proportions. We use face recognition to crop images in the best possible way.
Dimensions: 4:3 (maximum image size 2Mb and minimum dimensions 500x500px)
Format: preferably jpg
Here is our image guide
Step 2: Headline
The length of the text will be adapted according to the site settings. If you use longer headlines the text might be cropped using an ellipsis (...) at some websites.
Max length: 60 characters including spaces
Step 3: Description
Here is where you start telling your story. Please note that the length of the text will be adapted according to the media.
Max length: 80 characters including spaces
Step 4: Links and tracking
Provide us with the link to your landing page that has to be a page with content marketing.
You can track all your campaigns in Strossle analytics, but if you want to have your own tracking it is important that you follow our suggestions listed below.
You may use tracked URLs and you can also add an impression tracker.
Format: Content link, URL, Third party measurement tracker
Avoid using Doubleclick links, as they are blocked by Adblock.
We recommend to use HTTPS when using a third party impressions URL.
